Will someone be with me on go-live day?

For migrating clinics, yes - your dedicated onboarding advisor will be there in person on go-live day to support you and your team. For new/startup practices, on-site go-live support isn't included as standard since there is less going on on day 1, but you can opt for this as an additional paid service. Either way, every clinic receives the same comprehensive training, pre-launch support, and access to our team on the day so you're never left on your own.

Who does Lupa integrate with?

Lupa integrates with all the key partners a veterinary practice relies on. For laboratory diagnostics, we connect with IDEXX and Zoetis for both in-house and external lab machines. For pharmacy ordering, we integrate with NVS and MWI. For insurance claims, we work with Vetenvoy. We also support PACS integration for imaging, along with Stripe, Dojo, Outlook, Gmail, and more. Lupa also offers an open API, so if you use a specialist tool or service, there's a route to connect it.

What is an open API and what does it mean for my practice?

An open API is a way for different software systems to talk to each other. In practice, it means Lupa can connect with tools and services beyond our existing integrations - whether that's a referral platform, an accounting package, or something specific to how your clinic operates. If a third-party provider supports API connections, they can build a link to Lupa without needing to wait for us to build it from scratch.

How long does it take to switch to Lupa?

The full onboarding process typically takes around 6–12 weeks from start to finish. That includes a planning session, 4–8 weeks of data migration and system configuration, 2–4 weeks of team training, and then go-live with hands-on hypercare support for 3 weeks afterwards. This is just a guideline and your timeline is tailored to your clinic - we move at your pace, not ours.

Will I lose any data when switching from my current PMS?
