About Megan
Megan Conant is a certified veterinary technician and Lupa's Implementation Manager. She runs the process that takes a practice from its old system to Lupa: data migration, configuration, training, and the first weeks of live use.
She started on the clinic floor. From 2013 to 2018 she worked at Sandhill Pet Clinic in Wisconsin, first as a veterinary assistant and then as a CVT, drawing bloods, filling prescriptions, and handling the front desk when needed. She holds a BS in Animal Sciences from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and an associate degree in veterinary technology from Madison Area Technical College.
In 2018 she moved into practice management software. At ezyVet she spent 3 years implementing the system for practices worldwide, including a year as Senior Implementation Consultant supporting clients after go-live. She then joined National Veterinary Associates, where she led implementations for large hospitals and later ran the support team serving NVA's network. In 2023 she founded MMC Veterinary Consulting, helping clinics configure, clean up, and get more from their software.
That background shapes what she writes about: what a software change actually asks of a practice team, and what separates a smooth go-live from a painful one.
